The cliche says the artist suffers and suffering is part of making art. But „suffering“ in the general understanding may be a word used due to a lack of perspective. When perceiving utmost glimmering beauty, beauty that doesn’t let one sleep, sorrow will reveal itself in proportion to that amount of beauty. Darkness is a logical and necessary consequence of bliss. An artists' perspective on sorrow will probably not be a blinded one, but one that feels as romantic and electric as the first time you held the hand of someone you loved. It may be a welcome friend, because it amplifies the glow of beauty that hides in every crack of this world, and will in fact itself become beauty. A bright full moon wouldn’t reveal it’s elegance without the contrast of the dark night sky, therefor the darkness surrounding it is as beautiful as the moon.
